Specialized Care for Trauma, Neurodivergence & Families
Hi, I'm Wendy. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist who believes therapy should fit the person—not the other way around.
At Wild & Worthy Counseling, I provide trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming care for children, adolescents, and adults across Texas. I specialize in trauma and PTSD, autism and ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, and parenting and family support.
My approach is warm, practical, collaborative, and evidence-based. Depending on your needs, our work may include TF-CBT, ACT, DBT-informed skills, play therapy, psychoeducation, and practical strategies you can use outside the therapy room.
Neurodivergence is an important part of my work. As an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS), I support autistic and ADHD clients with executive functioning, sensory and emotional regulation, identity, self-acceptance, and navigating a world that doesn't always understand different ways of thinking and experiencing things. I also offer ADHD and autism assessments focused not simply on a diagnosis, but on helping individuals and families better understand strengths, challenges, and meaningful supports.
I work closely with parents, too. As an Independent Trainer of the Parenting the Love & Logic Way® curriculum, I help families strengthen connection, improve communication, set healthy limits, understand behavior, and find parenting strategies that fit their individual child.
Individual therapy is $100 per session. ADHD assessments are $150 and autism assessments are $500. Wild & Worthy is private pay, with superbills available for possible out-of-network reimbursement. A limited number of reduced-fee therapy appointments are also available through the Green Bottle Method.
Most importantly, you won't find a one-size-fits-all formula here. We'll start with where you are, what matters to you, and what you hope will be different.
You don't have to fit into someone else's mold to deserve support.
